About the Role
Our client is looking for a CPA-designated Senior Financial Analyst to support project and subsidiary financial reporting. This role combines external financial reporting, project accounting, month-end responsibilities, and stakeholder collaboration, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys ownership, variety, and working in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial and operational reporting for a portfolio of projects.
- Prepare funding requests and supporting financial documentation.
- Draft IFRS-compliant financial statements and supporting working papers for subsidiary entities.
- Support month-end close activities, reconciliations, and external audits.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather financial and operational information.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and controls.
Qualifications
- CPA designation with 3+ years of relevant accounting or financial reporting experience.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and external financial reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
Nice to Have
- Public accounting or audit experience.
- Experience with project accounting, capital projects, or complex organizational structures.
